Take a Taxi
There are plenty of taxis in Isfahan and they are supplemented by casual suppliers, private individuals who
will offer a taxi service. You need to know the general direction in which you're going and then you shout it
out at any passing taxi. If they've got room for you and they are already taking at least one of their existing
passengers in the same general direction, they'll stop and take you there. Service taxis, which you have to
yourself, are generally more expensive and will generally only be available from the hotels. If you're
planning to travel round the sites it is probably worth asking the hotel or an Isfahani friend to book a car by
the hour. Don't try to do it yourself as you will be greatly overcharged.
