The interior has excellent examples of Seljuk brickwork as shown in the illustration above, and is one of the few sites where an ordinary 35mm camera can take a complete picture of the dome, A band of kufic script marks the base of the dome and the upper part of the stucco mehrab can also be seen in the picture.
Note the skill with which the transition from the square prayer chamber to the round dome is made through the use of squinches. You may wish to consult the section on the concept of chahar taq in connection with this.
